This prohibition also applies to long-term residence permits in the Czech Republic. Holders of second citizenship in other countries will also not be eligible to enter the country. The ban also restricts the right of entry for citizens of Belarus. However, in exceptional cases, the right to long-term residence remains.

Let’s remind you. For the first time, the Czech Republic banned the issuance of visas and residence permits to Russian citizens in February 2022. From 10/25/12, a ban was imposed on entry into the country with a Schengen visa issued by other EU members, and from 11/21/12, Russians who do not have a Schengen visa need to apply for a transit visa to transfer at international airports in the Czech Republic.
